Busy time out here in China. Yesterday we left our Yangtze cruise ship. The porters unloaded our bags the old fashioned way. Some things in China don’t change that much after all.
We had a guided tour of the massive Three Gorges Dam and the associated 5 stage locks that raise and lower massive ships by just over 100 metres.
I also got to see my favourite warning sign in China. I disagree with it. The world needs more romping… and yaks. Romping yaks would be perfect.
After this a train to Wuhan where we spent the night before visiting the famous Yellow Crane Pagoda. We were looked after by our excellent guide, Jennifer
Finally, our last train ride. Five hours to Shanghai where we have a guided tour tomorrow.
I love a good sign
