Well, we made it, and after all of the en route delays, largely caused by waiting for freight trains to pass, we ended up arriving in Vancouver two hours ahead of schedule. this is our first Canadian city where the temperature has been above freezing, and the first Canadians I’ve seen wearing soft comfortable shoes instead of boots. It was of course raining when we arrived, it does a lot of that in Vancouver.
I’ll finish this part of our Tour by saying thank you to all of the staff who looked after us on our journey. Job well done. I’ll do another couple of posts about what we get up to in Vancouver, before we fly home on Sunday.
