Rock The Kasba

Quite a long day today and I’m feeling really tired. Also I think I’m losing my voice with A/C flu, so tonight turning the Aircon off and sleep with the windows open. I wouldn’t mind, but I’ve been trying to be a good Muslim on this tour. I’ve had no alcohol at all for the whole tour, just mint tea. If I lose my voice tomorrow I might try a large scotch to get back to normal.

We spent the day in the Medina & Kasba in Marrakech, followed by a free late afternoon and then dinner out with music. Rather than explain in detail I’ve put a gallery below and I’ll let you guys just soak up the sights and sounds.

We return in the evening as the sun sets. The square is full of people, snake charmers, musicians, food stalls, vendors, hucksters and people selling just about everything you can think of

Finally, just a short video of some of the sounds we heard today (some of them are a little weird, but that’s all part of the fun)
