Just two trains today, from Montreux to Visp and then Visp to Zermatt. On arrival my clients have a free afternoon and evening and so they’ll be exploring this rather spectacular town.
The mountains overlook and dominate everything, particularly the famous Matterhorn which was a little bit cloudy shrouded today.
Tomorrow we travel on the Gornergrat cog railway all the way up to about 11 thousand feet from where are expecting to be able to grab and post some fabulous photos of the Alps.
We are staying here in Zermatt for two nights, which means that tomorrow morning I don’t have to manage the baggage transfer on an early start. I might as well take advantage of that, so this evening I’m enjoying a cigar, a beer, a schnapps and later a fondue. I’ll probably go to hell, but Rude not to really!
