Today we took a boat trip on lake Lugano to visit the tiny fishing town of Gandria. The sun shone on my clients and it was a lovely day.
My clients have been very sweet today. At one time or another most have come up to express their sympathies and condolences for the passing of the Queen. One of the most astonishing things about this sad event is thatit is felt as a global loss not just a domestic UK sadness. It’s absolutely true to say that I am not, and never have been an enthusiastic monarchist. With that in mind what has surprise me is how much I feel the loss. Strange days
